Jessica Hawkins said it has taken “every bit of blood, sweat and tears to get here” after becoming the first woman since 2018 to test drive a Formula 1 car. Hawkins drove 26 laps of the Hungaroring circuit in Hungary in Aston Martin’s 2021 model. Hawkins has been an Aston Martin driver ambassador since 2021 and team principal Mike Krack said it was a “special moment”.
