The LIV Golf UK tournament will take place over three days from Friday 26th July to Sunday 28th July.

Rounds will begin with a shotgun start at 14:15 on each of the first two days and at 14:05 on Sunday.

LIV Golf UK course details and venue

LIV Golf UK will be played at the JCB Golf and Country Club in Staffordshire, which was built in 2018 and this will be the first time it has hosted a tournament of this magnitude.

It is a par 71 course that measures 7,255 yards. Water comes into play on many holes and excitement is likely at both the second and 12th, which are driveable par-fours. Wide fairways will encourage players to adopt an aggressive approach.

LIV Golf UK stats and past winners

This is the first time LIV Golf has visited the JCB Golf and Country Club, although Sergio Garcia will be in a confident mood having won the last LIV gathering in Andalucia.

Joaquin Niemann leads the individual standings, having claimed two victories and five other top-10 finishes this season.

LIV Golf UK this year’s notable players

Jon Rahm has finished in the top 10 at each of his completed LIV tournaments in his first year on the Tour and will fancy his chances of claiming a first victory after finishing tied for seventh at last week’s Open Championship.

Patrick Reed has finished in the top five in two of his last three LIV efforts and also performed creditably recently in two DP World Tour tournaments.
