Max Verstappen can add one of the few missing races to his list of honors in China

Max Verstappen has ruled Formula 1 with an iron hand in recent years. The Dutch world champion has won no fewer than 20 of the last 22 races, so there are few Grand Prix missing from the list of honors. Verstappen is only missing two of the current races, but he can cross off one of them this weekend.

The Grand Prix of China is scheduled for the first time since 2019 this weekend. At that time, Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes still dominated Formula 1 and Verstappen was allowed to pick up the crumbs in his inferior Red Bull. Five years later everything has changed and the Dutchman is even three world titles richer.

Verstappen set two winning streaks last year, first ten and later nine wins in a row. In the meantime he has won most of the current Grand Prix. There are 24 races on the 2024 calendar and Verstappen has already won 22 of them. Only China and Singapore are still missing, but he can cross off the first one next Sunday.
